		<description>Yes, you can, BUT it is better to use an IP connection to the CN3 and port 2189 (telnet raw).

If the IP30 is connected to the CN3 and the CN3 has a valid IP in your network, you can connect to this IP and then play from XP PC with the reader. The Datacollection Engine on the CN3 will bridge the connection between BT and TCP/IP.

If you would like to use the IP30 directly, you can also connect with SPP from XP to IP30 directly. But as the IP30 will not just transmit only read RFID tags, you have to send it a READ command and will then get back a response about TAGs.

This is different from a barcode reader, which sends over the barcode data directly after scan.

		<description>Could you connect an IP30 to XP in this same fashion? I&#039;m going to be doing dev work for CN3/IP30 and would play around with the IP30 in xp too if this was possible.
